I've always loved the tactile nature of fabrics, something from my childhood spent shopping with my mom, who was a master seamstress.  In 2013, a particularly difficult year in my life, I taught myself to knit from YouTube videos.  That saved my sanity and an obsession was born.  I work primarily with fine fibers like silk, cashmere, alpaca, and mohair, and love the challenge of learning new techniques. I have a passion for knitting fine laces as well as chunky knits that keep me warm in the cold Northwoods, and creating gifts for the people I love.
