Art Beat is continuing to host our annual color show.  It is an opportunity for artists to challenge themselves by using a color that may not usually be part of their painting palette.  It is also an opportunity for artists to come together and supports the arts in our area.  This show is open to the public and is a non-juried show.

Guidelines:

•  2D or 3D in any subject matter or medium.  Each artist may submit one large piece not exceed to 36” X 36”.

• Artist’s original work only.  

• No copies or likenesses of another artist’s work or copyrighted references. 

• All work must be public appropriate.

• Artwork must be ready to hang.  A professional hanging system is used.

• All mats must be clean and with professional cuts.

• Any work not meeting exhibition standards may be rejected.

• Work sold – Artist 90% - Art Beat 10%.

• No fee for facilitating show.

• Artwork may be taken by buyer at time of sale if sold after opening.  Artist is responsible for replacement if possible and should bring the new piece to Art Beat of Hayward.

• Timeline:

            April 27 - 29:  Deliver artwork to Art Beat of Hayward.  Information must accompany artwork.

            April 30 - May 31:  Show is hung

            May 7:  Opening, 3 – 6 p.m.

            May 31:  Pickup of unsold artwork.

• Payment for sold artwork will be done the week after the show closes.  We will make an effort to let you know in advance if your work sells.
